Job Description
The LDAR Technician will perform leak detection and repair (LDAR) inspections, utilizing a variety of data collection and inspection techniques. This role involves developing and maintaining records, often working with analyzers, instrumentation, and equipment to gather data for inspection of oil and gas related piping and equipment.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Perform LDAR inspections following policies and procedures tasks
- Daily Analyzer calibration
- Quarterly certification of analyzers
- Communication with client and supervisor
- Maintain and complete monitoring schedules
- Repair leaking components
- Generate work requests and follow-up on LDAR maintenance repairs
- Maintain record keeping on monitoring and repairs
- Maintain identification of LDAR components and applicability reviews
Required Skills and Qualifications
This role requires:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Will perform work in adverse weather conditions on the field
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical
- Technical /Mechanical aptitude
