Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a 6-month project focused on Azure-based application development and infrastructure initiatives. Based in Iselin, NJ, this role will oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Azure cloud technologies, application development, and infrastructure management, coupled with proven project management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage a 6-month project focused on Azure application development and infrastructure deployment.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, architects, and infrastructure specialists, to ensure seamless execution.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of applications and infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security protocols, and Azure best practices.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to drive team productivity.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
• Resolve technical and operational roadblocks by collaborating with subject matter experts.
• Deliver project documentation, including status reports, technical specifications, and post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on cloud-based projects. - nice to have
• Proven experience managing Azure application development and infrastructure projects (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, Virtual Machines, Networking, etc.) - Nice to have
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards in cloud environments (e.g., SOC, GDPR).
• Local candidates in Iselin, NJ, or willing to work on-site as needed are preferred.
