Summary:
We're looking for a motivated Junior Consumer Retail Technology Application Support Engineer to join our TechOPS team. This role is perfect for someone with 1-3 years of IT support experience, especially in food and beverage management software. The person in this role will help maintain and support our retail technology applications, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our clients in the restaurant industry.
Key skills and experience needed:
- Experience with restaurant software, especially the Oracle MICROS product suite (like Simphony, RES 3700, 9700, Materials Control, and R&A).
- Knowledge of JavaScript and SQL.
- Experience with tools for managing IT systems, like SCCM/Retail.
- Familiarity with IT service management processes (like ITIL).
- Experience with tools that monitor application performance.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle) and using them for data analysis.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Simphony, RES 3700, or 9700 systems.
- Skilled in automating and integrating POS (Point of Sale) and Mobile POS systems.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases.
- Familiar with tools like Windows 11, Marimba, PowerShell, and Python.
- Understanding of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Experience with networks and PCs, with the ability to troubleshoot installation problems.
- Familiar with payment processing systems and related technologies.
- Knowledge of different operating systems such as Windows Server 2007, 2010, 2011, Oracle, and VMware.
- Experience with automated support management tools in a support center setting.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.67 - $45.00 per hour
