What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADAS Algorithm Developer position at Aptiv PLC?
Summary
We are currently looking for Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) / Automated Driving (AD) algorithm developers to work in our Troy, MI location. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing cutting edge technology for ADAS / AD systems.
This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience. Visa sponsorship may be available for this position.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop algorithms for ADAS / AD applications e.g. Adaptive Cruise Control, Intelligent Speed Assistance, Collision Avoidance, Hands-Off Highway Assist
- Test in vehicle, perform data analysis, and debug in rapid-prototyping and / or embedded environment
- Verify the design, assess and optimize the performance in simulated and real-world environments
- Document and report according to established development processes
