Summary:

As an Aptiv AS&UX NA Business Planner, your role will involve analyzing and planning various aspects of the business operations to ensure effective decision-making, resource allocation, and strategic growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement plans that align with AS&UX NA overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans for the organization. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives.
• Forecasting and Demand Planning: Utilize historical data, market research, and customer inputs to develop accurate demand forecasts for Aptiv's products and services. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between demand and supply plans.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the financial viability and profitability of potential business opportunities. Develop financial models, perform cost-benefit analysis, and assess investment returns to support decision-making processes.
• Business Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress of Aptiv's business plans. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide regular reports and presentations to senior management.
• Resource Allocation: Work with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively and efficiently, considering capacity constraints, budgetary guidelines, and business priorities. Optimize resource allocation to support the achievement of strategic objectives.
• Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Conduct market research, analyze customer insights, and identify potential threats and opportunities for Aptiv's business.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and executive leadership, to gather inputs, align plans, and ensure cross functional coordination. Foster strong relationships and effective communication to drive successful plan execution.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and optimization within the business planning function. Implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance planning accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
• Proven experience in business planning, strategic analysis, or a related role
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of relevant software tools
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other planning tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Adaptability to changing priorities and business requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the automotive industry or related sectors is desirable
