Your Role
Lead radar compute architecture development for Aptiv's future automotive radars.
Key job responsibilities for this role include :
- Participate in the development and production of radar sensors
- Trade-off embedded system designs, weighing choices for acceleration of radar signal processing and array processing based on cost, performance, and power dissipation
- Present studies to technical teams and leadership
- Lead the selection of hardware components based on top-level radar system requirements and algorithm team inputs
- Interface with multi-disciplinary product development teams in support of design, integration and test of embedded radar hardware components
- Work with radar simulation teams to create radar simulations that assist in the investigation of radar hardware and algorithm trade-offs
- Work with the radar systems and embedded DSP teams, SoC developers and external suppliers
