Embedded Security Engineer. Troy, MI. Perform R&D and develop new security designs and implement software and algorithms to defend telematic devices in vehicle networks and cloud-based data systems against vulnerabilities and cyber-security threats. Develop, maintain, and manage cybersecurity requirements and standards. Coordinate with functional areas to advance overall system security. Perform in-vehicle security assessments and validate telematics system security levels. Apply security requirements to controllers and vehicle systems. Support TARA development and analyze CVE based vulnerability and open threats to telematic devices. Requires Master’s in Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science, and at least three years of industry experience in embedded security. Experience must include utilizing secure communication technologies, cryptographic protocols and hardware, cloud services and security, software security tools, seed/key security, secure boot, python scripting, vulnerability scanning tools, Wireshark network tools, and Service Now.
