Responsibilities
- Utilize Athenahealth or similar systems to manage patient medical records efficiently
- Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards and Medicare regulations
- Coordinate care for patients across various settings such as ICU, PICU, outpatient, and hospital environments
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans
- Advocate for patients to receive appropriate services within managed care guidelines
Requirements
- Experience in case management within a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in utilizing Athenahealth software is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and Medicare regulations
- Ability to work effectively in diverse healthcare environments including ICU, PICU, outpatient, and hospital settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with patients and healthcare professionals
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,650.00 - $2,700.00 per week
