Department Description:
- The Emergency Department (ED) provides care for a wide range of patients, from non-critical to emergent medical conditions, including urgent mental health care.
- The department welcomes all patients, whether they walk in or arrive via emergency transport.
- All ED staff are certified to care for critical cardiac, trauma, and pediatric patients.
Experience/Education/Qualifications:
- License:
- A current unencumbered Oregon RN license is required upon submission.
- Certifications:
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- For the LCH Emergency RN role, the following certifications are required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) is preferred, though not mandatory.
