Termite Sales Manager/Inspector

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Termite Sales Manager position located on the road in the area around Dallas, Texas. Termite Sales Managers are expected to manage the team and make sales by converting leads into customers. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and train termite inspectors

• Direct, monitor, and motivate the termite inspectors sales staff

• Inspect activities of termite control technicians

• Meet daily with warm leads to sell termite solutions - This role involves 50% sales leadership, which includes mentoring and guiding sales representatives, and 50% direct sales activity, including joint sales calls with other reps

• Engage with customers in a friendly and respectful manner

• Answer questions and provide clear, concise information

• Schedule and confirm appointments promptly and professionally

• Follow company guidelines for personal grooming and hygiene

• Conduct thorough inspections of both interior and exterior areas of the property

• Identify locations conducive to termites and preventative measures we would take to protect the home from future infestations

• Identify signs of termite activity, including mud tubes, damaged wood, and termite droppings

• Distinguish between active and inactive termite infestations by analyzing signs of recent activity

• Document and report the status of colonies accurately

• Articulate expectations for curative treatments

• Provide a detailed explanation of inspection results to customers

• Demonstrate how the treatment will effectively address the specific issues found during the inspection

• Develop a clear and detailed diagram of the property highlighting where the termite treatment system will be placed

• Ensure the diagram is easy to understand and accurately represents the planned installation

• Use the diagram to explain the installation process and benefits to the customer

• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications:

• 2 years of termite inspector experience

• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required

• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)

• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires

• Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams

• Termite license in the state of Texas
