What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Engineer position at Aptive Resources?
The General Engineer plays a critical role in supporting healthcare delivery systems by ensuring the infrastructure, facilities, and equipment are optimally designed, constructed, and maintained to meet the needs of medical missions. The role requires a combination of technical expertise in engineering or architecture and a commitment to enhancing healthcare outcomes through professional services.
Location: 3675 Britannia Drive, Tucson, AZ 85706
Shift Information: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM -12:00 AM Monday through Friday
Primary Responsibilities
Provide overarching professional services focusing on engineering and/or architecture in all aspects of healthcare delivery processes/systems and ensure appropriate infrastructure , facilities and equipment are available for the medical mission.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- One Program Accredited by ABET or 2 include differential and integral calculus and courses in 5 of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics:
- (a)statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c)fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.
- Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently under the authority of U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d)
