What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologist position at Aptive Resources?
The Radiologist will provide diagnostic imaging services and consultations at the VA Medical Center. The role includes interpretation of radiological exams, collaboration with referring providers, and adherence to high clinical and documentation standards in accordance with ACR, VHA, and TJC guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities
Arrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP). We provide staffing solutions to address critical shortages in VHA medical facilities caused by turnover, recruitment issues, seasonal needs, surges or emergencies.

Primary Responsibilities
- Interpret a full spectrum of imaging exams (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, etc.)
- Communicate critical findings promptly to referring physicians
- Document results using the VA’s VistA Imaging and EHR systems
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review programs
- Support VA policies on privacy, security, and infection control
- Serve as an expert resource for the facility’s technologists and providers
- M.D. or D.O. with a current, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
- Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
- Experience with voice recognition dictation systems (e.g., Powerscribe 360)
- Credentialed and privileged in accordance with VA and ACR guidelines
- Strong communication skills and clinical decision-making ability
- Familiarity with HIPAA, VHA directives, and government compliance standards
