Project Process Lead
Contract
Location: Open to remote (occasional travel On-Site, Redmond WA)
Rate: $40-$50/hr
The team is seeking an experienced supply chain process professional to lead key transformational project process work. As a Process Engineering and Value Delivery Transformation Process Lead, you will drive the development, implementation, and adherence to processes that improve workflow and reduce operational bottlenecks. By applying Lean methodology and quantitative Process Management techniques such as process mining, you will continuously improve processes, eliminate waste, and increase efficiency. You will also be responsible for promoting technical collaboration among team members, engaging with stakeholders to uncover business opportunities through lean methods, and coordinating process planning sessions. You will partner closely with Business Owners, Engineering PM leads, and Change Management leads on a continuous basis to provide data and inputs to ensure the most impactful business scenarios are prioritized accordingly as part of a world-class supply chain.
Responsibilities
Utilize lean methodology to drive process analysis and design efficiency into our supply chain transformation processes working with business stakeholders and engineering.
Work across various project teams to identify and drive the needed conversations and workshops to close any gaps in the as-is and to-be process documentation and impact assessments. Ensure that proper Process and Policy governance is followed.
Work with business SMEs to identify process measurements that align with future state processes for assigned functional area. Utilize process monitoring and mining techniques to ensure that project outcomes are quantified and meet expectations.
Collaborate with process leads across value streams to identify and address project dependencies and process impacts.
Build trusted partnerships across business owners, engineering program managers, architecture team and change leads to drive portfolio alignment and lean decision making.
Research and educate internal partners on industry leading / best in class process management solutions that can be used to inform the design of the future state, intelligent supply chain.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 4 years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
o OR equivalent experience.
2 years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
2 years experience managing value stream, cross-functional and/or cross-team transformation projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience driving process optimization with the Define, Measure, Analyze, Implement, Control (DMAIC) Lean process methodology - Six Sigma Black Belt.
Experience developing and implementing process mining and monitoring using common industry methods.
History of developing trusted partnerships, collaborating across teams, coordinating multiple timelines, and managing complex, cross discipline projects.
Functional knowledge and experience related to the Digital Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model defined by Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM). Deep functional knowledge in at least 2 process areas of the model including Plan, Source, Transform, Order, Fulfill and Return
