Job Summary :

Millennium Management LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Core Java Engineer to join our growing team in Miami, FL. As part of a strategic initiative to enhance our Systematic Execution Platform , you will play a key role in helping Systematic Portfolio Managers implement and refine their strategies. Our platform is a critical tool for order execution, position management, corporate actions, and more. While already highly successful, we are committed to further scaling and reducing internal latency to keep pace with rapidly evolving market demands.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep expertise in Java development , strong concurrency experience, and a passion for working on complex financial technology solutions. As a key contributor to the success of our platform, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve horizontal scalability and performance while solving challenging technical problems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop high-performance, distributed , and scalable systems that support Systematic Portfolio Management
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the platform's features, improving system performance and reducing latency.
• Implement core modules and new features, using technologies such as Kafka Spring Boot Redis Junit , and RESTful APIs
• Take responsibility for maintaining high availability and reliability in production systems.
• Optimize system performance, ensuring horizontal scalability across the platform.
• Partner closely with trading teams to develop solutions for complex financial applications, such as order management, pricing engines, and execution pipelines.
