The Warehouse Associate is responsible and accountable for:Experience & Other Requirements
- Receiving and Off-loading materials
- Verifying counts to purchase orders
- Sorting stock materials from job materials
- Checking shipments for damage, noting appropriate paperwork
- Ensure all material is placed in its appropriate areas
- Staging of material for installation, shipment, or customer pick up
- Assist internal and external customers with pickup and loading
- Utilizing company specific software, to maintain accurate inventory
- Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment in safe and effective manner
- Make deliveries as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with special projects and deliveries as assigned.Essential Functions
- Driving box truck, pick up, or van
- Warehouse functions (receiving, shipping, delivery)
- Forklift operation
- Maintaining paperwork
- Great customer service
- Computer software (Microsoft, inventory software, etc)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be years of age or older
- Valid Indiana Driver's license
- Clean driving record required
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items throughout the day
- Attention to detail
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance
- Prior Experience driving a box truck in a shipping/receiving/delivery environment is a plus
