What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at APWireless Infrastructure Partners?
We're seeking a full-time Accountant to join our La Jolla office team! This role is responsible for all aspects of the G/L accounts for the Company, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet, and P&L analysis.
This role is HYBRID with two (2) days in office
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyzes information detailing accounts payable. Coordinates with budget managers for approval and allocation. Prepares purchase orders and payments for multiple jurisdictions.
- Collects, summarizes, and interprets financial data to prepare journal entries for month end close including prepaids, depreciation & amortization, and credit cards.
- Bank reconciliations for multiple jurisdictions. Reconcile credit card statements.
- Reconcile and review various balance sheet and income statement accounts (prepaids, fixed assets, banks)
- Assist with external audits.
- Works on special projects and other duties assigned by Manager
- Ad hoc reporting
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Finance, or Accounting, from 4-year College or university
Experience:
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Preferred experience in audit accounting
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of Pivot Tables, V-lookup, and basic financial functions within Excel
- Experience using Yardi preferred, but not required
- Must have working knowledge in a standard accounting system
Soft Skills:
- Highly organized and detail orientated
- Excellent data entry and scheduling skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Time management skills; deadline adherence is mandatory
- Must possess strong analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day

Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 bonus potential
