CNC Punch Operators

Established in January of 2001 under the name Tri-County Enclosures, Inc., APX Enclosures began with just 12 employees focusing specifically on the outdoor traffic enclosures market. In late 2003, Tri-County officially changed names to APX Enclosures and began spreading rapidly into other markets including telecommunications, security, and public works. Today APX has tripled its workforce and is recognized for its expertise and cutting-edge solutions as APX continues to grow in the enclosure space.

Summary

As a CNC Punch Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, responsible for operating CNC punch machines to produce precision components. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and machining skills to interpret blueprints and ensure quality standards are met. Your expertise in CNC programming and familiarity with tools such as calipers and micrometers will enhance production efficiency. Additionally, your ability to work with various materials and machinery, including CNC laser cutting and press brake machines, will be essential in delivering high-quality products to meet organizational goals.

We are looking for dependable, dedicated employees to be joining our team. An ideal candidate would be someone who can:

• Follow work order routings and properly complete associated paperwork in accordance with set procedures
• Perform first piece inspect of manufactured parts to meet blue-print specifications and tolerances, and adjust setups accordingly to ensure a quality product is produced
• Train new operators in the setup and operation of CNC machine as required
• Train to be proficient on various machines with moderate supervisor and or crew leader instruction
• Responsible for communicating to Supervisor and or crew leader all machine related issues (i.e. machine down or damage to equipment) and or part availability
