Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid Driver’s License with minimal traffic violations.
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
Proven experience as a Crew Leader in traffic control or similar roles.
ATSSA Traffic Control Technician (TCT) Certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with construction teams to manage safe traffic movement around construction and repair sites, adhering to safety regulations.
Direct and control traffic flow using MUTCD and ATSSA guidelines.
Set up, maintain, and dismantle temporary work zones including signs, cones, and barriers as per specific job requirements.
Operate in close proximity to equipment and vehicular traffic.
Drive and maintain company vehicles responsibly to and from job sites.
Ensure all crew members adhere to safety rules, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and follow all MUTCD regulations.
Manage daily inspection and inventory of all assigned equipment.
Complete all paperwork accurately and turn in documentation promptly.
Communicate effectively with contractors and crew to ensure expectations are exceeded.
Adhere to all AQC Policies and Procedures.

Train and guide new flaggers on appropriate work zone setup and operations.

Foster a culture of punctuality and accountability within the crew.

Requirements:
Ability to work in various weather conditions and temperatures.
Capable of standing for extended periods and managing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Strong communication skills and ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
