Responsibilities:
- Greet customers entering the establishment, indoors and outdoors even during inclement weather.
- Explain services offered by company, provide pricing information, upsell the customer to a higher tier product or service.
- Process payments accurately using cash registers or electronic scanners/tablets.
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by answering questions, resolving complaints, and assisting with exchanges or returns.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate amounts.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring product levels.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and exchanges.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures to prevent theft and loss.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
