Job Description
The Senior Project Manager plays a crucial role in the success of our organization. As a key member of our project management team, this individual is responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion.
This includes coordinating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and purchase orders, as well as managing project financials and reviewing/approving subcontractor payments. The Project Manager will also communicate updates to clients, management, and project teams, prepare for and attend monthly project review meetings, and develop project-specific health and safety plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project planning, execution, and closure
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Develop and implement project health and safety plans
- Ensure QA/QC compliance and coordinate contract administration
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; Master's Degree preferred
- PE or equivalent professional license preferred
- PMP certification preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience; 5 years of project management experience required
- Experience preparing proposals, project plans, and project closeout documents
- Experience managing project accounting processes
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
