This role involves managing complex projects, identifying and mitigating risks, and developing strategies to achieve project objectives.
- Coordinates project activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
- Manages project resources, including budgeting, scheduling, and allocating personnel.
- Communicates project progress to stakeholders, including clients, management, and project teams.
- Ensures project documentation, including contract management, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Develops and implements project governance frameworks to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- PMP certification preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents.
- Experience managing project accounting processes, including project budgeting, forecasts, and cash management.
- Ability to track and oversee multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other management software.
- Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred.
