What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Mnager position at Aqrawi & Associates PLLC?
As a case manager you will be the main person handling the case, while you work with an assistant case manager and supervising attorney to help you with what you need. Our case managers usually have caseloads anywhere between 100 – 120, and handle the case from treating to demand phase.
The right candidate will be self motivated, organized, detail oriented, a team player, and knows how to delegate tasks. Pay will align with experience level.
- Ensure reliable and consistent client updates are being given on each file.
- Delegate tasks to your assistant case manager.
- Communicate with adjusters and various insurance company staff to get information and decisions you need.
- Ensure the client is compliant with treatment, following up timely, and sending LOP approvals as necessary.
- Make confident decisions on next steps with a file, coordinating with the supervising attorney as necessary.
- Be able to establish trust and connections with your clients, following up with them routinely, and maintaining high levels of client support skills.
- Be able to explain the entire process of a pre-litigation case in detail to a client in a way they understand and answer their questions when they have them.
- Understand the pre-litigation treatment process to a level where you can review medical records and bills to ensure they are complete and accurate for the file.
- Understand medical and health insurance liens and be able to recognize when there is one, send out notices as required, and explain them to clients.
- Ensure every file is organized, clean, and has a task set for follow-up purposes.
Requirements:
- Previous personal injury case manager experience REQUIRED
- Bilingual Spanish REQUIRED.
- Exceptional phone and customer service skills
