The Operations Assistant provides support to the operations team by ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative and operational functions. This role involves coordinating workflows, managing schedules, maintaining records, and assisting with operational processes to help the organization run efficiently. Will work with Operations group to issue all parts for production jobs on the shop floor. Champions the time keeping system with all shop employees and scans all project related shipping and production paperwork to the project file.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Issues all material parts for production jobs and Ideal hardware kits.
- Controls and maintains the shop time keeping system.
- Scans and files all shipping and production paperwork in the project file.
- Helps with inventory transfers in the warehouse.
- Helps with weekly cycle counts and location issues.
- Helps with AMS order processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
knowledge, skills and abilities
Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent and proven written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Attention to detail and problem solving mindset, and ability to multitask and work under pressure.

None
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Usual office and warehouse working conditions with moderate noise such as warehouse forklifts, computers and printers, telephones and copy machines.
Minimum qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate degree with production or warehouse
experience helpful.
