Construction Scheduler – Aqua Blue Pools

What you’ll be doing:
The construction scheduler plays an important role in the construction project. You are responsible for working closely with the customers, project managers, site foreman, subcontractors, and vendors to create and manage project schedules. You will also place orders for construction materials and pool equipment. You are responsible for clear communication of a project internally and externally. In addition to the below, you will also take on other duties and roles from time to time that are not listed in this description.
Some job duties include:
- Assist the Construction Department with scheduling
- Communication with customers daily
- Creation and monitoring of active project schedules
- Inspection requests for all required construction phases
- Daily and weekly production of construction schedules for customers, builder accounts and project managers
- Resolves scheduling issues and informs all parties necessary of said problems and/or delays - internally and externally
- Schedules gunite and plasters – critical path phases
- Informs accounting of completed phases for billing purposes
- Constant and consistent communication
- Maintain incoming and outgoing email
- Job file management, job file communication, keep all files organized
- Upload correct and accurate job file documentation
- Maintain digital systems associated with scheduling
- Coordinate workflow and communication
- Communication and reporting to Management Team
- Processing new hire paperwork
- Take ownership of roles and responsibilities
- Handle recurring and unique tasks as necessary
- Cross training assistance in other departments for occasional help.
You will also need to:
- Have experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Learn to use our Digital Scheduling and related software
- Have the ability to manage your time and stay organized and focused
- Maintain the highest standards in customer-service; ethical and professional conduct
- Have a relentless pursuit of quality work output - consistently open to encouragement, training and coaching
- Have a talent for communicating - on the phone, in writing, and in person
