The Project Management Specialist at Aqua-Chem is responsible for managing and directing the daily execution of contract requirements to assure customer requirements are met. This individual will provide communication and coordination with internal and external customers to existing contracts.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Onsite; Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience

Essential Duties:
- Manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements within the scope of a a project to assure that customer expectations are met.
- Lead meetings with the integrated project team (kick-off through project close)
- Formally identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risk throughout the project/contract life cycle
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the customer on all matters involving contract execution and change orders
- Coordinate with other departments on the resolution of contractual problems
- Assure that contract requirements are executed in accordance with appropriate regulations and Company policies and procedures (i.e.: federal acquisition regulations)
- Assure a timely closeout of completed projects to ensure that all obligations are satisfied, and program documentation is properly recorded.
Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Engineering or technical experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Solid leadership, management and communication skills particularly in "influence management" and "conflict resolution"
- Excellent customer service skills, presentation and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to finance, contracting, export regulations, engineering, logistics, manufacturing and/or supply chain management
- Demonstrated success in project reviews, scheduling and budget
- Experience with production of water purification systems preferred.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in a technical field
- 5 years of previous project management and/or contract administration experience or equivalent
- Strong computer skills, including expertise with MS Office Suite and MS Project
- Knowledge of project management tools and procedures
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Must be a US Citizen
