What are the responsibilities and job description for the PD/HHD RN Nurse position at aQua Dialysis?
aQua Dialysis Clear Lake is seeking a part time PD/HHD RN to provide excellent quality care for our dialysis patients. An ideal candidate has at least a year of nursing experience and at least six months of experience with peritoneal dialysis.
The Home Dialysis Nurse trains the patient and/or care partner to successfully self-administer dialysis treatment. The nurse also conducts home visits to assess the patient's home environment and evaluate patient outcomes. They obtain data to track program and patient performance to improve quality of care.
This position is primarily part time and includes on-call nursing services, nights and/or weekends, on a rotational basis as needed or assigned. They may have to be flexible with hours to accommodate patients. This position requires the ability to distinguish all primary colors.
