Overview

We’re currently seeking a full-time Bilingual (English Spanish) Intermodal Dispatcher for our Winter Haven, Florida location.

About Aqua Gulf Xpress:

Aqua Gulf Xpress is the trucking division of Aqua Gulf. We service our customers out of the Port of NY/NJ, Philadelphia, PA and Jacksonville, FL. Our proximity to these ports, and the railroads that serve them, allow us to provide the highest level of service to our customers.

We also maintain interchanges with all major ocean carriers and railroads. We have a combination of company drivers/equipment and owner operators. Our in-house maintenance and safety programs help to ensure that our cargo arrives safely at its destination. Dispatching is handled via a state-of-the-art computerized system.

Job Description:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Working with company and owner operators and setting up their plan daily. Utilizing the HOS rules to dispatch effectively and maximize driver’s potential to be productive for the company and drivers together. We've listed below some of the duties and skill sets that we feel are essential for success in this role:

· Tracking and tracing drivers and shipments.

· Scheduling pick-ups and deliveries.

· Great customer service

· Attention to detail

· Knowledgeable in Excel, Word, and Outlook

· Working within Profit tools a Plus.

· Equipment tracking updating

· Ensure area trailer pools at customer drop yard locations are updated

· Understand Hours of Service (HOS) requirements

· Great attention to detail and problem solving

· Intermodal experience is helpful but not a must.

· Team oriented

· Fast Learner and able to multi-task.

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: From $18.00 to $22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Dispatching: 2 years (Required)
