Irrigation Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation maintenance and a passion for ensuring water efficiency. This role involves working outdoors, maintaining and repairing irrigation systems, and ensuring that landscapes and gardens thrive through effective water management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for maintenance and repairs.
• Use hand shovel to excavate irrigation components and ensure proper replacement.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate watering schedules and ensure healthy plant growth.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to existing irrigation systems based on observations and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and system evaluations.

Qualifications

• Experience in irrigation industry is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems is essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks such as digging and lifting.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in irrigation installation and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all installations meet quality standards.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.15 - $26.58 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
