Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting hot tubs and swim spas to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate efficiently through assigned routes.
Responsibilities
- Drive a delivery vehicle, such as a flatbed trailer, to transport hot tubs and/or swim spas to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle and/or trailer, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to any changes as necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status or any issues that arise during transit.
- Utilize equipment such as Avant Mini Loader for efficient loading and unloading of hot tubs, swim spas and/or saunas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently.
- Experience in loading and unloading products safely, with an understanding of warehouse operation, specifically receiving is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
