Aquatic Manager Objective: Our aquatic manager leads our aquatic team in the charge of our mission: We utilize the platform of swim lessons to promote growth, to instill character and confidence, and develop life skills in our students, parents, and team.. They work with their fellow managers to attain a level of excellence in customer service, lesson quality, and team environment that align with our core values and high standards.
Aquatic Manager Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership and management of aquatic team and ambassador of our proven curriculum. Hire, train, review, and coach aquatic staff while maintaining a safe and clean pool environment. Examples of duties include:
- Staff Oversight - Hiring, Training, Scheduling, Evaluations
- Providing world-class customer service and customer complaint resolution
- Attention to detail, adhering to Aqua-Tots proprietary curriculum and brand standards
- Pool Maintenance and safety (will be required to obtain/maintain CPO Certification)
- Obtaining and maintaining advanced teaching certifications through Aqua-Tots
- Team Culture building and collaboration with other leadership personnel, utilizing Entrepreneurs Operating System (EOS)
Qualities and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Previous management experience preferred
- Previous swim experience
- Swim instruction and/or lifeguarding experience preferred
- Full-time availability, to include evenings and weekends
- Strong leadership skills and emotional maturity
- Strong communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Able to problem solve creatively
- Able to multitask and hold yourself accountable to deadlines
- Able to hold others accountable
- Strong customer service skills
- Critical eye and attention to detail
- Strong organization skills
- Able to follow through with responsibilities
- Able to build a team with a positive culture
Aquatic Manager Position Type/Expected Work Hours/Time Allocation
- Full time position - min 40 hours/wk
- Days and hours vary based on the school’s needs
- Minimum of 2 Deck Supervision shifts per week
- Minimum of 2 shifts per week teaching swim lessons
- Allocate time weekly for training and conducting instructor assessments – time based on demand
- Allocate time weekly in the lobby for parent interaction
