Packaging company has an opportunity for a manager with experience with supervising several hourly employees. This family owned business offers benefits including paid vacations, holidays and medical insurance as well as the security of working for a well-established 30 year old company. This position works closely with the Plant Manager to meet daily production goals.
Responsibilities: hands-on individual will oversee employees in all aspects of the labeling department, packaging department and the shipping/receiving department as well as the material handling, which supports these departments. Other duties include training employees, enforcing company policies, reporting on merchandise received or shipped and maintaining compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements: solid educational background, computer proficiency, great oral and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.
