My Accounting Director leads the monthly financial close and management reporting of both domestic and international entities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly close and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
- Direct and oversee financial accounting and reporting functions for assigned corporate and domestic and international business units.
- Serve as a business partner on strategic initiatives with Treasury, Tax, Corporate Development, Corporate Reporting, FP&A and Operations.
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Supervise a team.
- Serve as the liaison with internal auditors.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
- CPA.
- 10 years or professional experience in both public accounting and global companies.
- Strong supervisory and mentoring skills.
- Strong accounting background and knowledge of US GAAP, statutory accounting and reporting requirements, and SOX.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
