The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company. The CSR will be the primary day-to-day contact with customers in response to inquiries about products, services, prices, schedules, and deliveries. The CSR will receive, review, and process customer orders and ensure timely shipment and delivery of all orders. This position is in The Woodlands, Texas and will report to the Customer Service Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate effectively with Customers, Internal Teams and/or Freight Carriers.
  • Acknowledge and assist customers in a timely manner.
  • Process customer orders in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines.
  • Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills.
  • Attend to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately and facilitate satisfactory resolution.
  • Effectively present and discuss the products and services of the company, soliciting only those desired products/services provided by the company to current and prospective customers in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs.
  • Support the efforts of the sales representatives.
  • Logistics management of orders, to ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
  • Resolve customer complaints and know when to escalate customer’s complaints.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • 5 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience in CRM and/or ERP System. (Salesforce and Datacor Preferred)
  • Experience in sales or customer service and/or experience in manufacturing/oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, processing a sales aptitude and interested in preventing errors and solving problems.
  • Must be computer literate and current on new technology.
  • Must be hardworking, a self-starter and a problem solver.
  • Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills. Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
