Distribution Channel Sales Manager
AquaPhoenix Scientific, located in Hanover, PA is seeking a Distribution Channel Sales Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for organic sales growth by actively building, maintaining, and expanding partner relationships with distribution channel partners. This involves developing and executing sales strategies with partners and includes market analysis, promotions, marketing, advertising, sales training, and product expansion.
The territory includes both domestic and international based customers and will require travel. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are not required but are beneficial.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner channel.
- Manage and execute approved channel sales strategies with a common goal to accelerate sales and meet and exceed channel partners’ expectations.
- Frequently meet with internal and external stake holders to communicate channel partner initiatives ensuring program execution, cross-selling opportunities, and integrity of promotional strategies.
- Confirm compliance with partner channel agreements. Report and make recommendations for lapses in program compliance and alignment of strategies.
- Track, maintain, and provide accurate analysis of business results including but not limited to account performance, new business development, market trends and activity, sales predictions, and marketing alliances. Report out as required.
- Utilize CRM software (HubSpot) to monitor incoming and existing open-ended tickets.
- Provide data and feedback on market trends, competition, pricing, and needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a channel sales environment. Bachelor, Associate or Technical degree in business or a trade field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to attain and apply industrial knowledge of product line and pricing mechanics with the capacity to interpret customer requirements, industry standards, and costing measurements. Previous knowledge in the commercial water treatment industry preferred.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
- Strong computer skills related to spreadsheets, word processing and industry specific software.
- Ability to navigate within different OSS and CRM modules.
