Equipment Quotation Specialist

AquaPhoenix Scientific is seeking an experienced Quoting and Product Specialist to generate project quotes and provide technical support to customers in the commercial water treatment industry. This customer-facing position will require a background in the water treatment industry or similar trade to provide customers seeking sales quotes, technical solutions, and product / hardware assistance.

This can be a remote position with standard business hours requiring some flexibility to meet customer needs, schedules, and internal meetings. Must be able to utilize a wide span of industry related knowledge and experience to investigate, analyze and determine a “best case” course of action. Maintain a proactive “hands-on” approach with all tasks and responsibilities ensuring project responsibilities are successfully completed.

Other key responsibilities include :

• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the product / services and how they can be tailored to the customer to meet their business needs.
• Demonstrate sound competent technical / product knowledge and excellent customer service.
• Lead quote facilitation process : document, process, distribute and track incoming sales quotes / inquiries matrix.
• Proactively act upon customer / vendor inquiries; communicate and express a high level of urgency and understanding with an ability to provide excellent service to exceed customer expectations.
• Work in conjunction with the General Manager to utilize and assign personnel appropriately to prioritize projects and responsibilities.
• Take ownership of the quotation and coordination of larger and more complex projects. Interpret customer requirements and offers solutions that maximize profitability and add value for the customer.

AquaPhoenix Scientific consider applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the Equipment Quotation Specialist position will frequently have a combined education and / or work experience that is a minimum a high school diploma or equivalent and two years’ work experience in providing quotes, technical solutions with product / hardware assistance. Advance training or degree is welcomed.

Other Key qualifications for this position include :

Training will include job-shadowing and support from a member of our experienced quoting team. A remote work location is possible for the right individual with strong product / industry knowledge related to water testing and treatment; however, must be willing to periodically attend on-site meetings, trainings, and / or customer visits. AquaPhoenix has locations in TX, CA, VA with the headquarters in Hanover, PA.
