Part-Time Marketing Associate
AquaPhoenix Scientific, located in Hanover, PA has an opening for a flexible Part-Time Marketing Associate to support a wide range of department projects and responsibilities. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this is an hourly position that offers both in-office and work-from-home opportunities with a commitment of 20 to 25 hours a week. Excellent opportunity for an individual with the right qualifications seeking extra income or a part-time role with flexible hours.
Primary responsibilities include creating and updating basic marketing materials for print, web and digital platforms. Requires ability to generate content for inserts used in STEM educational kits and product labeling. Great opportunity for a college student.
Although not all inclusive, the ideal candidate in this role will also have general experience in the following areas of responsibility that include:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, DSLR photography, and video editing to produce visually engaging content for print, web and digital platforms.
- Assist in generating content used in communication channels, products explanations, and services.
- Support the team with marketing initiatives including social media content, marketing collateral and coordinating marketing events.
- Provide writing, editing, and proofreading for proper grammar, accuracy and clarity of various marketing materials.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics and report findings to improve further opportunities.
- Attention to detail and quality assurance to ensure brand compliance, error-free content and effective vendor relationships.
- Assisting with the preparation of presentations and trade show planning.
AquaPhoenix Scientific consider applicants with diverse majors and work history; however, applicants for the Part-Time Marketing Associate position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Desired Skills, Education, and Knowledge:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a sales/marketing or similar including an educational environment with responsibility for writing content.
- General proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot Marketing CRM or similar platforms, DSLR photography, and video editing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
- Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to ensure brand compliance, error-free content and effective vendor relationships.
- Effective time management and organizational skills will an ability to see projects through to completion.
