Human Resources Assistant
AquaPhoenix Scientific, located in Hanover, PA is seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant to provide support with a wide range of department activities and initiatives. The HR Assistant is primarily responsible for handling day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for fostering a positive work environment through exceptional employee-focused assistance.

Must be able to demonstrate outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced environment. AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the HR Assistant will frequently have a combined education and / or work experience that is a minimum of two or more years' administrative experience, preferable in Human Resources. An advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is not required but can be a plus.
Although not all inclusive, some additional job responsibilities and skills will include :
- Administrative Support : Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, processing new hire paperwork, and managing HR databases.
- Recruitment Assistance : Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Onboarding : Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation sessions, training scheduling, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Employee Relations : Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures; assist in resolving issues or concerns.
- HR Projects : Participate in various HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement activities, performance management processes, and compliance audits.
- Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and confidential HR files, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Reporting : Assist in generating reports and analytics related to HR metrics, including turnover rates, hiring statistics, and employee satisfaction surveys.
- Confidentiality : Maintain empathy, and mutual respect at all times while safe-guarding restricted information.
