Job Description: Aquarian Systems is looking for a dynamic and driven Program Manager to lead a high-impact contract with the Department of State's Communication Security Division. Your Mission: As a Program Manager for one of our key contracts, you'll be at the forefront of delivering key projects and initiatives that are vital to national security. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while expertly managing risks and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your leadership will oversee the delivery of enterprise IT services, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and aligned with the Department’s needs. In this role, you'll develop and manage Communications Security projects for software delivery, Service Management, Anomaly Detection, etc. Additionally, you’ll monitor performance metrics, and keep senior management informed. Most importantly, you'll lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Program Management Certification: Whether SAFe, Agile, or PMP, some level of programmatic certification is preferred
- Experience:
- Proven success in program management, particularly within IT and security sectors.
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT, service delivery frameworks, and performance tracking
- Background in managing network or system operations.
- Ease in standing up new projects across both compliance and operations
- Comfort taking accountability and planning for the unknown
- A knack for building and leading cohesive, high-performing teams.
- Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Agile program management, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and software development project management is a plus.
- Security Clearance: Active SECRET clearance is required to play in this arena, TS preferred.
