What you will be doing as the Insurance Policy Service Specialist:
- Responsible for all client service related work, including but not limited to: apply renewal premiums, make policy changes as directed by policyowner and update policy administrative system accordingly, process EPOs (early payoff) or balance payoffs as appropriate, process surrenders and policy loans, process freelooks, provide payment histories as requested
- Responsible for answering incoming phone calls and handling customer service calls
- Answer main customer service line
- Respond to customer inquiries and explain policy provisions to customers
- Responsible for monitoring and working various policy management reports (i.e., suspense reports, IBA).
- Checking, handling and/or forwarding any general delivery messages
- Prepare any customer correspondence as necessary
- Policy research
- Prepare files for image and audit imaged files
What you will need as the Insurance Policy Service Specialist:
- Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in the financial services or insurance industry
- 3-5 years life insurance experience and/or LOMA matriculation is desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Self-starter, comfortable working in fast paced environment
