Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swimming Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming and the ability to educate and inspire swimmers of all ages and skill levels. As a Swimming Coach, you will play a crucial role in developing swimming techniques, promoting water safety, and fostering a positive environment for athletes to thrive.
Duties
- Conduct swim training sessions for individuals and groups, focusing on technique improvement and skill development.
- Educate swimmers on water safety practices and the importance of lifeguard protocols.
- Develop personalized training plans tailored to the needs of each swimmer.
- Monitor swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Organize swim meets, competitions, and other events to encourage participation and teamwork.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a supportive environment for all athletes.
- Maintain a safe and clean training environment in accordance with health club standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a swimming coach or instructor is preferred.
- Lifeguard certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and competitive strategies.
- Ability to work well with children, teens, and adults.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and educate swimmers effectively.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning about swim coaching methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
