Title: Investor Relations Associate
Location: Charlotte, NC
Position Summary:
The Investor Relations Associate will serve as a key liaison between the organization and the investment community, supporting strategic initiatives to enhance shareholder value and maintain transparent, proactive communications with current and prospective investors, analysts, and other financial stakeholders. The role demands strong analytical aptitude, exemplary communication skills, and the ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations program aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Prepare quarterly earnings materials, including scripts, presentations, financial summaries, Q&A documents, and press releases.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of market, competitor, and peer performance to inform executive decision-making and enhance strategic messaging.
- Maintain investor databases, engagement trackers, and CRM systems to ensure accuracy and facilitate targeted communications.
- Support the planning and execution of investor events, such as earnings calls, roadshows, annual meetings, and investor conferences.
- Draft and review investor-facing communications, including investor decks, fact sheets, and website content, ensuring consistency of messaging and brand voice.
- Monitor and synthesize analyst reports, shareholder feedback, and broader market sentiment to provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory disclosure requirements (e.g., SEC filings, Reg FD) and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of Board of Directors materials related to investor sentiment, stock performance, and IR strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong financial acumen, including the ability to analyze financial statements, valuation models, and market trends.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with financial information platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
