Key Objectives & Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage daily, weekly, monthly, and annual membership sales teams to sales budget.
  • Ensure adherence to AquaSonic brand standards and maintain consistency. Exhibit traits of responsibility, hospitality, purposefulness, passion, and honesty in all actions.
  • Staff up and down appropriately based on customer demand within budgetary constraints.
  • Lead inventory management, including ordering and receiving.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Partner on HR functions such as recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of equipment functionality and building standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external maintenance teams to schedule preventive and non-scheduled equipment maintenance as needed.

Person Spec & Key Competencies:
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration or hospitality management and have 2 years of experience leading brands in high-volume QSR, restaurant, and hospitality sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines with excellence and sales growth.
  • Hands-on leadership style.
  • Confident, self-starting individual passionate about training, developing, and leading high-performance teams that deliver exceptional hospitality and customer service.
  • Exceptional delegation and follow-up skills.
  • Curiosity-driven with a willingness to learn from others.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and capable of frequent standing, bending/kneeling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds. 90% of workdays are out of office and on asphalt.
Work Schedule & Expectations:
  • 50-Hour Workweek: Occasional additional hours based on operational needs.
  • Working Leaders: Operation Managers and Managing Partners are “lead from the middle of the pack” leaders, actively working alongside their teams in the pay lanes and vacuum areas to guide and support daily operations.
  • Car Wash Hours: Locations operate from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with team members on-site from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM most days.
  • Operations Manager Schedule: Schedules may change to meet business needs, including during a new store opening, before or after a natural disaster, or to cover other leadership PTO. However, the general expectation is as outlined below:
    • Two shifts per week: 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM. If the Managing Partner isn’t opening the store, the Operations Manager is expected to open.
    • One mid-shift day: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Two leadership shifts: 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM
    • Regular days off: Friday and Saturday
    • Works opposite of the Managing Partner's schedule, which is generally Tuesday to Saturday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with one mid-shift included.
    • This outline provides a general expectation, but there is no fixed schedule or formal agreement on scheduling. Operations Managers are expected to be flexible and work as needed.
Salary & Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: Operations Managers earn hourly wages, milestone bonuses, and monthly unlimited membership bonuses, with total compensation ranging between $62,000 and $76,000 in the first year.
  • Generous Benefit Package: including medical, vision, dental, PTO, Life Insurance, and 401k with company match.
  • Career Advancement: Fast-track 12- to 18-month program designed to prepare them for Managing Partner roles. This program aims to fill 70% of Managing Partner positions with internal hires.
