Aquatech has an immediate need for a full time Marketing Specialist role based in our Canonsburg, PA location.
The Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Marketing, and will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an exempt employee.
The ideal candidate will have a talent for explaining complex concepts and technologies in simple terms, and a knack for bringing flow-sheets and technical documents to life. They will need creativity, logic, and a love for storytelling, along with a love for technology and the ability to prioritize and work independently. They should also have familiarity with the content marketing landscape and best practices.
The candidate will have superior verbal and written skills, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Candidates with any experience level are encouraged to apply.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with our applications team to produce webinars and digital marketing campaigns for a technical audience, primarily (but not exclusively) in relation to Aquatech’s critical minerals market vertical.
- Produce eye-catching content to explain our technologies, including graphics, infographics and videos, taking a proactive and creative approach to repurposing in-depth technical content for different audience groups.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors relating to marketing at our Hartland, WI office, and support on-site sales and marketing activities.
- Work with our dedicated critical minerals Media & Communications specialist to support thought leadership and educational content.
- Develop collaborative working relationships across the engineering and commercial teams to deliver accurate technical content that meets our customers level of knowledge and technical background.
- Support the marketing team in building best-practice processes, especially relating to marketing technology and AI tools.
- Apply your understanding of technology to support targeted digital marketing across all relevant channels, including email, social media, and digital advertising.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or higher required, with a preference for candidates with a mix of science and humanities.
- Sector-specific experience is preferred but not required.
- Active interest in technology, critical minerals and energy preferred.
- Ability to understand technical topics and deliver engaging writing for a non-technical audience.
- Good understanding of the appropriate use cases for generative AI, and understanding of its drawbacks.
