Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Piping Designer to work in the Canonsburg, PA office. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Piping Designer will  perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee.

The ideal candidate will have creative out-of-the-box thinking, be team-oriented, customer service-oriented, highly organized, and detail-oriented. This candidate will also have experience using different computer platforms using various software programs for design.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree (preferred)
• One (1) year of experience using AutoCAD 3D or Plant 3D
• Two (2) or more years of relevant work experience.

Job Description:

• Detailed design and drafting based upon process data for piping, skid, and support design for the industrial water/wastewater industry.
• Provide AutoCAD assistance for various departments
• Produce 3D CAD, General Arrangement, and Piping Plans and Sections.

Skill Requirements:

• Experience in Piping and or skid design.
• Ability to use AutoCAD at a high level of proficiency.
• 3D Design. If not full training will be provided on Auto-Plant Piping, Structural, and Navisworks Jetstream (For 3D plant reviews).
• Ability to use personal computer (MS Word & Excel, Access).
• Experience with mechanical and piping designs and P&ID preparation.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel) and AutoCAD; 3D modeling is desired, but not necessary.
