Job Summary
Aquatherm North America distributes and supports polypropylene-random (PP-R) piping systems that are manufactured in Germany by the world leader in PP-R pipe, Aquatherm Worldwide. We help our customers create long-lasting environmentally friendly piping systems that provide solutions for nearly any project. We work to bring people the quality, reliability, and performance they need for any element of their lives by providing pipes for potable water, radiant heating and cooling, heating and cooling distribution, industrial applications, water conservation, and fire sprinkler systems.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and a deep understanding of financial concepts, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, balance sheets, and profit/loss statements.
- Analyze cost structures, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to identify savings opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Ensure timely completion of audits and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Evaluate capital expenditure and investment opportunities to ensure profitability.
- Provide insights into market trends, pricing, and margin analysis for piping products and services.
- Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure financial alignment in contracts and purchases.
Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or piping-related industries preferred
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
