Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned, reliable, and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for cleaning, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and physical structures, including pipe and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance: Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.
Machinery Operation: Safely operate tow motors, man lifts, and other machinery as needed.
Cleaning Duties: Clean the interior and exterior of the building, as well as machinery and equipment.
Shop Maintenance: Maintain the shop and tooling in a neat and orderly manner.
Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to the supervisor.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
Inventory Management: Keep an inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting needs to the supervisor.
Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs.
Preventative Maintenance: Follow and understand the importance of a preventative maintenance program.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery and building systems.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems, including relevant equipment and tools.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with MVP spray equipment (pumps, spray guns).
Familiarity with catalyst and acrylic sprays.
Knowledge of fiberglass maintenance.
Basic computer skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents.
Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism from supervisors.
Willingness to work outside of normal production hours when required.
Essential Functions:
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to get along with others, function as a team player, accept constructive criticism from supervisors, and follow work and safety rules.
Physical Abilities: Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting. Frequent bending and walking, with rare sitting.
Work Hours: Willingness to work 10 hours per day as needed.
Attention to Detail: Required for all tasks.
Safety Mindset: A must for maintaining a safe working environment.

Safety glasses.
Work gloves.
Electrically non-conductive composite toe work boots.
Ear plugs for specific tasks.
