What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Assistant position at Aquatic Solutions Physical Therapy?
We are looking for a Front Office Assistant/Physical Therapy Technician to help our Front Desk Manager manage our reception area/gym at our Roseville Physical Therapy location. You will act as the ‘face’ of our company and ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome. You will coordinate/multitask all front desk activities, including calls, appointments and patient services. You will help out the PT/PTAs in the clinic with cleaning/laundry and any other assistance they may need. We work as a team and help out wherever needed, so a team player is a MUST.
As a Front Office Assistant/PT Tech, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers
Responsibilities
- Ensure front desk is clean and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and informative leaflets)
- Troubleshoot emergencies
- Ensure proper mail distribution
- Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met
- Help out the therapist in the clinic with cleaning/laundry and any other assistance.
- Phones/scheduling patients
- Working with other front staff/medical biller to ensure proper office flow.
- Assist Front Office Manager, Medical Biller, Rehab Manager, Clinic Director with tasks.
Skills
- Proven work experience as a front desk assistant or receptionist
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic book keeping procedures
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Minimum Associate's Degree or higher
- Knowledge of WebPT/Therabill a BONUS
Rate: 16-18$/hour - Negotiable
Hours: 24-28 Hours, Wednesday to Saturday. Days can be further discussed during the interview.
