We are looking for a Front Office Manager to help manage our reception area/gym at our Redford Physical Therapy location. You will act as the ‘face’ of our company and ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome. You will coordinate/multitask all front desk activities, including calls, appointments and patient services. You will help out the PT/PTAs in the clinic with cleaning/laundry and any other assistance they may need. We work as a team and help out wherever needed, so a team player is a MUST.

As a Front Office Manager, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers

Responsibilities

  • Ensure front desk is clean and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and informative leaflets)
  • Troubleshoot emergencies
  • Ensure proper mail distribution
  • Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met
  • Help out the therapist in the clinic with cleaning/laundry and any other assistance.
  • Phones/scheduling patients
  • Working with other front staff/medical biller to ensure proper office flow.
  • Assist Front Office Manager, Medical Biller, Rehab Manager, Clinic Director with tasks.

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a front desk assistant or receptionist
  • Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic book keeping procedures
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Minimum Associate's Degree or higher
  • Knowledge of WebPT/Therabill a BONUS

Rate: 22-25$/hour - Negotiable

Hours: Discuss Days/Hours during interview
