Your expertise in Python, data warehousing, and cloud technologies will be essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines using Python frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to develop and implement data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing data pipelines.
- Contribute to the development of next-generation data infrastructure.
- Work with large datasets and various data sources.
- Implement data quality and validation processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 8 years of experience in IT.
- 6 years of experience in Python programming for data processing, including proficiency with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and others.
- 4 years of experience with data warehousing technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake.
- 4 years of strong SQL skills, including performance optimization, stored procedures, triggers, and schema design. Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- 4 years of experience designing, developing, and managing REST APIs.
- 2 years of experience with AWS services like Data Exchange, Athena, Cloud Formation, Lambda, S3, and others.
- 2 years of experience with ETL tools like Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar.
- 1 year of experience with Hadoop and Hive.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Git.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with other cloud platforms.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Experience with machine learning concepts.
