About the Role:
As a Data Engineer III, you will be a vital part of a team responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines that power critical business functions. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to process and analyze large datasets, enabling data-driven insights that inform key decisions across the organization. Your expertise in Python, data warehousing, and cloud technologies will be essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines using Python frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to develop and implement data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing data pipelines.
• Contribute to the development of next-generation data infrastructure.
• Work with large datasets and various data sources.
• Implement data quality and validation processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 8 years of experience in IT.
• 6 years of experience in Python programming for data processing, including proficiency with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and others.
• 4 years of experience with data warehousing technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• 4 years of strong SQL skills, including performance optimization, stored procedures, triggers, and schema design. Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• 4 years of experience designing, developing, and managing REST APIs.
• 2 years of experience with AWS services like Data Exchange, Athena, Cloud Formation, Lambda, S3, and others.
• 2 years of experience with ETL tools like Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar.
• 1 year of experience with Hadoop and Hive.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of DevOps and Git.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with other cloud platforms.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Experience with machine learning concepts.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $56.99 to $63.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
