Hardware Test Engineer, Quantum

The Quantum teams mission is to make state-of-the-art quantum computing tools available to the world to enable humankind to solve problems that would otherwise be impossible. The Quantum electronics team is carrying out a broad range of R&D aimed at implementing the best quantum computers in the world, with a long-term goal of realizing a fault-tolerant quantum computer.

As an electronics test engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing performance tests on custom analog electronics. This includes both verifying that new designs meet their performance targets and also designing manufacturing tests. You will work with designers to get the system requirements, build test setups to measure performance, and write scripts to automate testing, and produce reports.

Responsibilities :

• Design test setups for custom RF electronics, including commercial test & measurement equipment, test fixtures, and measurement protocols.
• Execute the test plan and produce reports for new devices.
• Generate test plans for internal testing of analog / mixed-signal / RF components and assemblies and own execution of these test plans
• Develop systems and fixturing for characterization of analog / RF / digital components and systems
• Generate test plans for external testing of analog / mixed-signal / rf components and work with partners to execute these test plans during production
• Document test results

Experience :

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $92.51 to $102.79 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
